For my genre shift, I decided to make, Shakrnado 1 into sort of a romantic comedy. I took most of the clips from the trailer but for the slow-motion shots, I looked for specific clips from the movie. This was hard to do in a week and if I had more tie and didn't have to reshoot the news it probably would have looked cleaner. If I had more time to work on it, I would have chosen more shots of the two people and made it more into a romantic comedy rather than a "us against the world/sharks" movie. I decided to add the jump scare at the end because I thought that them hugging wouldn't catch an audience as much as a big shark would. The Sharknado movies are awful, and the clips show that but when you rearrange things you can make it look like an actual movie which is pretty cool.
